Do you ever wonder what to wear for a date? Or what can you and your significant other do for a date? As Valentine’s Day is just around the
corner, I’ve been searching from some Seattle date night ideas for Brandon and me. I
thought I’d share the some of my Seattle date night ideas with you. Here’s what I would wear and what I would do for a date night that you can also do:
What
to Wear for Date Night: Something sweet,
something romantic.
In my date night look, I mixed textures by pairing a chunky
knit with a silk slip dress underneath. We’re still in the middle of winter in
Seattle, so I love layering sweaters with dresses. For shoes, I wanted to wear
some sort of heel, but still be able to walk around comfortably. So I chose to
style this look with my favorite blush
colored block heels. I seriously could walk around these shoes for days.
Recreate
my look:
RomWe
Sweater: $18.99 (on sale from
$43.99!) – This is the actual sweater in my look!
FreePeople Slip Dress:
$49.95 – similar dress
Melrose
& Market Nordstrom Rack Block Heels: $49.97 – similar shoe
White
Cross Body Back Nordstrom Rack: $39.87 – similar bag

What
to do for Date Night:
1.
Wine & Paint Night –
Canvas
This would be a fun date night
for either with your significant other or your girlfriends! A few girlfriends
and I went one night really enjoyed it. I loved feeling like an artist for the
evening and afterwards I actually gifted the painting to my little sister!
Price: $30/person
2.
Ride the Seattle
Great Wheel – This is a classic date night thing to do in Seattle. Its such
a romantic way to end the evening and get a stunning view of the city.
Price: $13/person
3.
Cooking
Class – Five Course
Italian Cooking Class for Two
My boyfriend and I have cooked a
few times… we’ve made chicken and rice, pizza, and plenty of breakfast
sandwiches. I think it would be fun if we actually tried to make an extensive,
fancy meal together. I purchased this groupon but haven’t yet used it, but the
reviews looked great so I’m sure it’ll be a fun time!
Price: $69/two people
4.
Sunday Ice Cream Cruise
– I can’t believe I just found out about this… I might convince my boyfriend to
go one of these Sundays or at least go once during spring! Anyways the Sunday
Ice Cream Cruise takes you through a tour of South Lake Union. You’ll float
past Gas Works Park and the Sleepless in Seattle houseboat. This is such a cute
date idea, especially once the weather starts getting nicer! Plus it’s only $12
a person for the 50 min ride!
Price: $12/person
5.
Flat
Stick Pub – If you’re looking for an indoor mini gold course and beer for a
date night, I would recommend Flat
Stick Pub! A few of my friends have really enjoyed Flat Stick Pub in
Pioneer Square so I really want to check it out sometime this season.
Flat Stick Pub Price: $25/two people
6. Appreciate the Arts:
Chihuly
Glass Museum: A girlfriend visiting from out of town suggested we wander
through the Chihuly Glass Museum in fall. I had heard about the museum but
never been so I was excited to see the place. All of the glass blown pieces
were breathtaking. I highly recommend visiting this place for a romantic date
night or even as friend date with one of your girlfriends!
Price: $22/person
Seattle Art Museum:
The SAM always has really interesting exhibits. Lots of my friends wandered
through the museum to see the YSL exhibit. I’m still kicking myself for not
making it a point to go… Anyways it would be a fun date to wander through the
different exhibits!
Price: $20/person
7.
Wine
& Chocolate Pairing: My boyfriend loves wine and I love chocolate, so I
think we’re going to have to try this out soon! Plus Sweet Decadence Wine & Chocolate Bar
rated 4.5/5 stars on Yelp so this place looks really good.
Price: $22.50/person
8.
Parlor Live Comedy
Club: For a date night during the week, I would recommend the Parlor Live
Comedy Club. Last year, my roommates and I went to check this place out because
my roommate got free tickets. They had pretty good happy hour menu
before the show and we enjoyed the Thursday evening show!
Price:
$17/person

The mixed textures in this outfit are so great-- Especially with the knits layered over the slip dress!
ReplyDeleteLove all of the date night ideas you've shared. I had no idea that the ice cream cruise existed either.... time to add it to our list of date days!
